The Athens Zine Bibliotheque

The Athens Zine Bibliotheque

The Athens Zine Bibliotheque (Panagiota Theofilatou and Tasos Papaioannou) documented zine production in Greece and expanded its public programming by organizing online and in-person workshops. Over the past two years Panagiota and Tasos created an Archive section for The Athens Zine Bibliotheque’s website, organized an online poetry zine workshop and zine presentations and workshops in Sikinos, and collaborated with the University of Thessaly in the context of SNFPHI’s online seminar series “Extra-Terrestrial Ethnographies of the Future-present.” For this series, they developed workshops for nearly 80 participants from around the world, who collaborated to produce a zine documenting the pandemic present from the perspective of extraterrestrial explorers visiting a devastated Earth.
