One of SNFPHI’s missions is to collaborate with grassroot organizations and initiatives that promote public humanities in Greece. We can’t wait to work with the Temporary Academy of Arts, (PAT), led by Elpida Karaba, Despina Zefkili, Yota Ioannidou, and Vangelis Vlahos, for our next event in February. Our collaboration will be part of Waste/d, an ongoing art and radical pedagogy research project exploring how people, materials, and ideas are rendered unnecessary and disposable in times of extended crisis. PAT combines collaborative research and curation with community involvement, hosts events in a wide range of physical and digital spaces, and pushes the boundaries of printed and digital publishing as it documents its operation in collaboration with small publishing houses.
